What is a Lip Blush?

Lip Blush is a Hi there, I just sent you some forms. Please fill them out today. Thanks of semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the lips' natural tint and shape, giving them a boost. It's designed to define and outline your lips. If your lips are not symmetrical , it helps make your lips symmetrical and hence; look fuller. It basically gives the illusion that they are fuller, but in a very natural way. It's more or less like microbladimg for your lips. It gives the same 3D look to your lips and that's why you feel like your lips are bigger than they actually are.

How long does lip blushing last?

Betweeen 2 and 3 years, depending on how carefully you follow aftercare instructions and how many touch up sessions you have. 
 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:​

  • Under 18 years of age

  • Cold Sore (Herpes)

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Epileptic

  • Diabetic

  • Prone to keloids

  • Using Accutane

  • Auto-immune diseases

  • Serious health conditions

  • Hyperpigmentation or hypo-pigmentation

  • Transmittable blood conditions (HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis)

  • Currently on chemotherapy or radiotherapy

  • Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, severe acne)

  • Healing disorders or problems with healing

Do's and Don'ts after a lip blush tattoo session

Do: Use a lot of lip balm to keep your lips moisturized. Plan a follow up appointment with your makeup artist.

 

 

DON'T: Pick your scabs. Never! Also, avoid sun exposure and workouts for 2 weeks. Do not eat spicy food in the 48 hours following the session.

 

To achieve optimal results, here is what you can do to better prepare yourself for the Natural Lip blush treatment. Please refrain from taking any blood thinners 24 hours before your appointment unless it is medically necessary. This includes the following but not limited to:
 

  • Caffeinated Drinks (coffee, tea, energy drinks)

  • Alcoholic Beverages

  • Niacin

  • Fish Oil

  • Vitamin E

  • Ibuprofen / Aspirin / Pain Killers
     

Please leave a time frame in between your appointment or refrain from any activities or treatments that may cause irritation or sensitivity to your skin. For best results, please refer to these instructions:

  • If you plan on receiving botox or fillers, please wait at least 3 weeks before and after your appointment.
     

LIP BLUSH AFTER-CARE

• Immediately after, gently blot with a clean tissue
to absorb excess lymph fluid until oozing has stopped and apply a tiny, rice grain amount of vitamin A and D using a Qtip.

• Wash morning & night, with gentle soap, use your cleaned fingertips
to gently cleanse the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds,
Rinse with bottled water and gently pat dry with a clean tissue. Repeat this process for 7 days.

• Apply a tiny, rice grain amount of vitamin A and D 3 times a day for 7 days
with a cotton swab.

.No smoking for 7 days

*It is recommended to apply tiny, rice grain amount of triple antibiotic ointment once a day to avoid infection.

• Apply a light layer of A and D for added hydration throughout the day as needed.

Do not wet/wash your face for 3-5 days this includes sweating/exercising. Do not be in direct sunlight for 2 weeks.

*If you see the a lymphatic liquid on the area, please clean the area. Use a q-tip that has been moisten with bottled water to clean that section. 

*Use a straw to drink for the first 5 days especially for drinks with dark pigments like coffee, orange juice and red wine.

*If you are prone to getting cold sores, take 
Valacyclovir 1000mg starting 3days before getting the treatment and ending 4 days after the treatment. 

*It is recommended to take one vitamin c pill and fresh pine apple cuts to heal faster.

Touch ups: 8 weeks
